Speech Pathology Service Areas:

o   Echolalia / scripting / Gestalt Language Processing

o   AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) assessment and implementation

o   Support for non or minimally-speaking children

o   Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

o   Social communication

o   Social emotional development

o   Early language development (e.g., late talkers, speech delay)

o   Lisps

o   Clarity of speech (e.g., articulation of sounds)

o   Reading and writing

o   Mealtimes

Types of service activities:

o   Initial assessments, re-evaluations, second opinions or ongoing therapy

o   Attendance at case conferences, NDIS planning meetings, school observations

o   15min per session to allow for feedback/communication correspondence with family/support staff, and personalising resources for the session

o   Report writing: summary or comprehensive, NDIS reports or communication device applications

o   Customised resources e.g., communication boards, visual supports, home practice

Fees

Perth-Based Service

$193.99 per hour of service

Services offered at school, daycare, work, home or in the community.

  • Initial assessments (screeners and comprehensive)

  • Therapy sessions (45min session, 15min of notes, feedback and personalising resources for session)

  • Reports (summary, comprehensive, NDIA requested)

  • Travel to and from service location (first 10min is complimentary), Kms costed at 0.99c per km

  • Liaison with support team, training and making personalised resources

  • AAC device trials and funding applications

WA Remote Services (not completed within metro Perth)

$290.99 per hour of service

Services offered at school, daycare, work, home or in the community.

  • Initial assessments (screeners and comprehensive)

  • Therapy sessions (45min session, 15min of notes, feedback and personalising resources for session)

  • Travel from Perth to remote location. Includes travel time, accommodation, car hire and flights. Travel costs are split evenly between all participants.

  • Liaison with support team, training

  • AAC device trials and staff training
